Fairhope Event Lighting is owned and operated by Jim MacMicking. While based in Southern Alabama, Jim actually got his start at Longwood Gardens during “The Brandywiners” production of South Pacific. At that time, he was only sixteen, but he was taken “under-the-wing” of some of the most experienced lighting engineers in the country. A lot has changed from those days of dimmers and patch panels, now its LED lighting and computer controllers. But Jim’s passion for lighting has continued through the years, matched only by his passion for sailing.
